Waterfoot Sunrise

Road To The Bay

It may have been cold and breezy today, but when the sun was out it actually felt quite warm. A good drying wind as well which has helped get rid of the areas of flooding in the fields.

As I drove around this afternoon looking for a blip, my attention was drawn to this road end, which I am more than familiar with. The track across the fields that leads to Carradale Bay holds all kinds of childhood memories, mostly of going for walks or on occasions for a picnic if the weather was fine. I also recall trying to avoid the cows, particularly when they had young calves as on one occasion I managed to get between them and was quickly chased away by an angry cow. I still like to keep a healthy distance from them!

Anyway, I liked the colour of the fresh leaves on the trees and the contrast with the blue sky and decided to make it my blip for today.
