Cold and very frosty start , had to take it steady on the icy lanes getting out to do a postnatal visit. Got there fine and helped, advised, assisted and supported in all ways required.l Listened a lot . Was there for 2 1/2 hours ! Great to see her with her bubba finally , she’s so happy .
Sun came out and with perfect timing and melted most of it in time to got to the stables . Caelan and I nipped out for a very quick 30 min hack in the afternoon, the wind was biting by then and I was just happy we managed what we did.
Daisy was utterly fascinated by the neighbour across the field sanding some wood . She had her tail up and was staring and snorting for ages, maybe she has a thing for power tools !
The flooded horse field in the eco village is frozen and utterly irresistible to Basil ( see extra) , I had to put his lead on and gently drag him away this morning .
