Set off for the hospital to have my heart monitor implanted. Blip is corridor to the cardiac unit which I thought was very cheerful. All went well, though it was a bit chilly to be sitting around in a hospital gown. Felt fine so got off the bus a couple of stops early and bought a new tv. Don’t like anything like this as I feel I don’t know enough about it. They were helpful and I ended up with the same decision that I made in Edinburgh which is reassuring. Did some Christmas shopping in a very busy town centre and came home for a lazy evening
