Navigation Gardening

We travelled to Stanted Abbotts this morning and walked north alongside the Lee Navigation to Amwell nature reserve. There were lots of narrow boats, barges and boats. I was taken by this barge - lots of plants being grown everywhere, including in raised beds on the roof, and composting bins at this end.

We headed to Stevenage and M&S at Roaring Meg to get dad some new tops. J’s first experience of a big store since early 2020. She felt out of practice, some things have changed. Interesting watching all the fans pouring into Stevenage FC’s nearby ground, they’re getting big support these days.
