Two Go Up and Two Come Down

I walked around to the park that is one entrance to the hill tracks.  It has an attractive avenue of green trees.  While taking photos of foliage I got lucky and people appeared.  A walker stopped to talk and said he was surprised by the number of people he met while he was walking.  It is another sunny day so people are out doing things.  I would have gone for a beach walk but the road to there is closed for the weekend for re sealing.  That means the other road is bumper to bumper. 
I wasn't going to relate this next event but late this afternoon I took the shot of the two  basketballers and a budding toddler ball player and it is a positive end to a negative beginning.  Cutting the story short the facts are that overnight the cars that are parked on the street were targeted by random people walking around.  One window was broken and some change stolen but work tools ignored.  One house has a security camera and has footage of shadowy figures going car to car.  This morning several of us stood on the street and discussed.  This afternoon a neighbour fixed the backboard on the basketball hoop.  It got damaged when the trees were chopped down.  More people gathered to help and now the children can play again.
