A stressful day dealing with other people’s stresses

Ailie came round. Needed support which I hope I gave.

A phone appointment with a nurse from the surgery turned out to be for half an hour filling in his “ template “ as a follow up to annual review. When I said GP had said bloods were fine he said he needed to advise me about healthy lifestyle etc for his forms. Half an hour when he could have been dealing with sick people. All because of the government’s plans - it’s new good idea saves money as it “Prevents” illness.

New SIM arrived but only one and no idea which phone it was for. Old numbers were supposed to stay but haven’t.

Went to Saks Gosforth and listened with sympathy to therapist’s traumas.

Decided to walk into town to clear my head before meeting Mr C there. He was on hold to BT trying to sort out phone issues. The Blip is from my walk over the Town Moor, a wonderful space only 5 minutes from Newcastle city centre.

Then we went to Morpeth for his tooth extraction while I went to EE to try to sort out phone issue. It’s not sorted but Mr C has a new tooth on his plate and feels fine.

Now I’m going to make a list of stuff to pack and things to sort before we leave at 3.15am Saturday.

Friend messaged to ask us to their house in Mallorca in May. An incentive to get fit!
