Wednesday: Daddy Longlegs & Kale “Red Russian”

I woke me between 4 and 5am this morning - I looked through the window and saw a large hedgehog wandering around the garden, I could see it well because one of the street lights is very close, so glad they’re still around :-)

I had a couple of things I wanted to do today but started by making an egg & mushroom curry for tea tonight. Went in search of some kale to add to the curry, that’s when I spotted the Daddy Longlegs (Crane fly) haven’t seen any this year.

The weather settled so I put a load of washing in the machine. Only half of the items were hung on the washing  line, it was very damp  - the remainder can wait until tomorrow …!

Did some pruning of the Yellow Elderflower, it’s got too big and will need quite a lot more branches removing.

MrD on deliveries all day and finished around 5pm.
