Tuesday: Blueberries

We had a dry and sunny day, both of us up just after 6 this morning.

Set off for the funeral service in good time, a few holdups and we arrived at the same time as the cortège.
It was a thoughtful and very moving service, one of her granddaughters read a eulogy which had us laughing and in tears :-)

We came home for a quiet lunch, then MrD went off on his motorbike for a few hours and I had a few minutes of gardening and a coffee whilst I sat and watched the birds.

Picked the last of the blueberries, ate 2 they’re very sweet!
