May all your dreams come true

Today, we left the hotel in Tenterden, and headed for Cambridge.

We had a lovely, lovely time, bimbling through the old streets, trying to find the cathedral.  Quite difficult to do, when it's the size it is.

It was pissing down with rain and the town was full of soggy graduates.  I was quite taken with some of the outfits.  Strangely for children / young adults who profess to be educated, their choice of clothing was questionable to say the least (and I'm not even going to start on some of the parents).

We left Cambridge and headed to Faversham.  Tonight, was a special treat for Si - and Boy!  Today was Boy's birthday, and this was the first birthday we have spent with him in 12 years!

I was seriously doubting my ability to do anything today.  My legs were almost rigid with exhaution.  But when we arrived at Faversham... (Guess what MORE BLOODY STAIRS); SI Insisted I sleep for an hour before we went out and it did me the world of good!

We wandered down and round to the Brewery - and We met Boy and Jess on the way.  I gave him a street rendition of Happy Birthday and Had the best cuddle ever.

At the brewery, he was elected Shephard (It was Shephard Neams), and got a yellow bib to wear while the rest of us had orange.  We had our lovely tour, a lovely tasting and then FOOD.

Once we had had pudding, the lovely, lovely ladies, brought out the cake and candles I had sneakily placed behind the bar.   Everyone Sung Happy birthday to Boy, and he got another free pint.

After the tour (whence Himself bought around half the shop), we wandered round to our hotel, where we tripped over uneven floors, and hit our heads on Beams,

But we were all pleasantly happy, and more than a little plished.

Happy BirthdaY Dude.
