Return to Culbin

We decided to make the most of another sunny day and returned to Culbin Forest for a longer walk. It was most enjoyable walking through the woods in the sunshine and gentle breeze, enveloped by the honey scent from the blooming heather, mixed with the sharper aroma from the pine trees. We reached the viewing tower where we had a panoramic view of the surrounding forest and out to the hills in the north across the Moray Firth (extra). Bertie was quite happy to scale the heights of the tower and I managed to get a snap of him on his way down with N. (extra)
After our walk, we were all ready for a tasty late lunch at Brodie Countryfare.
