Dynamo!

Think I might just be getting the hang of this photography malarkey. Cyclescheme have been running a competition in April where you had to send in pictures of your commute and one of mine has been shortlisted in the top 25. The prize is an ipad mini which I am sure my daughters would love. If you are on facebook please have a wee look and if you like it, please give it a wee like The Crow Road

This is the front light on Miranda. It is a Dynamo and works purely on pedal power. There is something most satisfying about generating your own electricity by pedalling. The back light is also a dynamo and it has a capacitor in it so that it stays on for a few minutes after you stop pedalling. Very handy for the stop/start nature of the urban commute. Sometimes I just stare at for a while, marvelling at my creation of light!
