Isard

I had a very rare sighting of the elusive isard, the wild Pyrenean mountain goat. We had a great walk up to the Spanish border to Roc Colom. The walk took us up to 2,500 metres, 16 km with 830 metres of ascent. We did not stay long at the top as the clouds were looking threatening on the Spanish side. The clouds spilled over into France during the afternoon but we stayed ahead of them and were still in the sunshine when we arrived at the bottom.
