On our way

This morning we finished packing, cleaned the bathroom including steam moping, planted the flowers, watered the garden…..
Then after a bite of lunch we packed the car and headed up the road. We stopped at Chaelon’s which was lovely. And waited till Barry got home before we set off for the airport.
It was the normal fiasco getting through the airport stuff but we got there. I was sitting further forward than Doug, Audrey and mom.
It was strange not setting off till 11:20pm. It was actually just gone 12 midnight when the plane took off
I turned on the camera view and enjoyed watching the workmen checking the wheel and then watching it run along the runway and then take off into the air with all the lights below …. Then just darkness apart from the slow red flashing light.
Somewhere around 2-3am people turned off their monitors and fell asleep. I slept a bit too. :)
