Sisters sisters ….
Just waiting for the boat to take us to where we are staying or rather getting picked up.
Nir found us pretty quickly and loaded us into his little jeep. He stopped at the market (grocery shop) so we could pick up anything that we needed then took us up to our accommodation.
Wow! Welcome to The Tiki tiki room! That’s what it reminds me of. Jungle and tikis all over the place with little stone winding paths leading to each ‘fare’.
That was us for the rest of the day. We focused on feeding mom and getting her comfortable. When Audrey and Doug’s fare was ready we all went up for a look. Beautiful!
Mom stayed and had a lay down. I took myself to the hammock to read a while.
Mom ended up with a huge headache most likely from lack of sleep, food and water and also due to high humidity which came this afternoon.
Dinner (more of whatever meal we had earlier! Breakfast or lunch or dinner…no one knew. Potatoes and bacon. Mom was looking better after that. (There had been no food for her on the flight even though we had ordered it ahead of time and checked at the boarding desk).
We went up to Audrey and Dougs balcony for sunset photos then we all went to bed.
I had to try a little of the island rum before I went. After all it would have been rude not to! ;)
Very comfortable bed with soft squishy feather pillows. :)
