Small places

She beat me every time last night! Before my alarm went off, she woke up. I gave up in the end and just waited for her call!

Cathie’s grandma Meg died today at lunchtime. We knew it wouldn’t be long. As a result it’s been a fairly quiet day.

I’ve been with Scout ALL day as she didn’t really have a long nap at all and just played gently most of the time. I did busy myself quite a bit in the kitchen so she would entertain herself quite happily and this evening she did that really well with me in the living room, chasing and barking at a long box Cathie gave her to play with and having a small wild moment running outside and back in a few times!

She now knows her name - even waking up when I call her and coming looking. :). She loves squeezing into the small gaps between the planters and walls and things, chewing on twigs and leaves and stones and dirt!

Her favourite toy at the moment is a piece of string with a knot on the end. She chases it like a cat for ages! Haha!

‘Combed’ her for the first time. She didn’t mind it. Oh, and put her on the lead and walk around. She didn’t particularly notice it and was far too focused on the food in my hand! Haha! But she did walk nicely. :)

Bed at 10:00 tonight. Alarms are set…maybe I’ll beat her and get her outside before she wees!
