BBQ!

Another lovely day - our last for a while, I think…  that was our three day heatwave. Mind you, I don’t want the drought that the rest of the country has at the moment.

No need to go to the Links this morning, because Elizabeth was coming to take Archie out a wee bit earlier than usual. For we were going round to Pip’s house for a BBQ in the afternoon. Our first (and possibly last) BBQ this summer! That’s our garden just over the wall.

And what a super afternoon we had - the sun was HOT, so was the BBQ, and Fergus cooked the Sicilian sausages from the local deli to perfection (you can just see him in action here). Actually, we stayed a wee bit too long - the Hefeweizen Grapefruit Bier was very good!

Archie was his usual bonkers self - skulking around at far corners of the house or the back garden, at one point he had to be put on the lead and stay by my chair. He is much more sociable with Dougal. He and Pip just ignore each other. 

Only one dog in the photo - it’s Pip. Archie was probably in the farthest corner of the garden or the house.
