lighter moments

I was working at the cafe again today, at a Silver Wedding celebration with 72 guests. The cafe looked lovely with snowy white tablecloths and beautiful old china teasets, and the guests were served prosecco and afternoon tea.

Laura and I were in charge of the tea and coffee and the bar, and afterwards we all helped to clear away and put the cafe contents back in place for Monday morning.

Gail, Lynda and Marjorie worked in the kitchen to make the scones, sandwiches and cakes and did a ton of washing up. Here they are enjoying a lighter moment when the couple were dancing to "Love is all Around" by Wet Wet Wet.
