At last . . .

. . . we have our car back.

4 February - the guy, driving far too fast, drove his car into ours causing a fair amount of damage.

Problems with getting parts, particularly from Europe, then a body shop trying to clear a huge backlog, have caused delay, after delay.

6 July - we finally collected our car. (5 months and two days later)

We had hoped to get the car back in time to take it down to Cornwall but that wasn’t to be. So we went in the hire car - quite a monster. Actually whilst in Cornwall we managed without using a car at all. Great to be in a place where most things are within walking distance and there are also buses and trains. Such a novelty for us.
