Salad leaves . . .

. . . again. Fresh from the garden, washed, spun and crisped up in the fridge for an hour. Dressed with good olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Perfect! Especially as we have actually had summery weather today.

The extra photo is not very good as it was taken from a video sent to me by my daughter. But the blonde looking very serious is our granddaughter playing violin in the school orchestra and doing really well. Alice also plays the piano and is doing GCSE Music. This weekend the school has organised a few days in Edinburgh (quite a way from Sevenoaks!) during which the students will have time for exploring and will perform two concerts. Such a great experience for them all. We are planning on going up to see a concert on Sunday.
