Quality of life

I can't even remember anything of much note or importance I did today other than simply enjoy it. Lounging around, taking a walk, reading a book, and sitting around chatting with friends. Coming back to America I have already been feeling pressured to feel like I need to be busy in some task. Almost like a feeling of guilt if I'm not always engaged in something.

Just the culture of busy, busy, back here I suppose getting to me. But trying to sit back and enjoy the quality of life despite...meaning the little things like spontaneous gatherings, long conversations, and laying in the grass, sunshine on my face. Savoring moments in the moment, you know? This time next week I'll be teaching 24/7, busy..busy again. So get it while you can!
