G Golf, Galleries, K Keepsakes, L Lake District. Lancashire, London, M Marmite, Michaelmas Daisies, Manchester, Monarchy, Museums. N Navy, NHS, O Orchestras, Oak trees, Orchards, P Parks, Pears, Post boxes.
Q The Queen, R Roses, rain, robins, Rugby, Railways. reading.

St. George, who we celebrate today as our national saint,is also the patron of Portugal, soldiers, armourers and archers. He is a very masculine saint from my perspective.Attributes of St. George are the dragon, a red cross banner and a small prayerful Princess whom he heroically rescued from the dragon so the legend tells us.
