The wheat is ripening

Bit of a heat haze here today as it was so hot. We didn’t walk Elvis until mid morning which was much too late as he had to lie down with a fan on him when we got home. It’s not much fun wearing a heavy black fur coat in this heat.
We had a lazyish day after that, but I did get some ironing done.
