Baby Beckett's First Memorial Day

It was Beckett's first parade, albeit a small parade. The flag bearers, the boy scouts, and the high school marching band. 

He will be 6 months on Wednesday, but even at 6 months, he asked..." Candy, where's the people passing out candy?" (He's very advanced for his age.)

"It's not that kind of parade Buddy Boy," his dad Jeff said.

After the parade, we went to the national cemetery to visit mom Heather's Uncle Dick.

Mom Heather said..."Smile Beckett, c'mon...smile." 

Beckett answered..."It's not July 4th Mom, this is more of a solemn holiday." (He's very advanced for his age.)

On this day to remember, it's fun to watch the little man grow up.
