hello there
On my afternoon walk, I was stopped in my tracks (literally) when I saw this flower growing right in the middle of the path. It was a species I didn't recognise at all, but a bit of research shows that it is a meadow saxifrage which usually grows in pastures and hay meadows (here it was in woodland). It is in decline nationally because of the steady loss of its habitat. I shall watch it carefully and try to get some seeds from it later in the year to grow at home.
Lots of gardening done today. Not much else :-)
