Day 2 - Jedburgh to Kirk Yetholm

Easier today after all yesterday’s exertions.
We started the day (cloudy but dry) with a very big breakfast and then this time we ordered a taxi to take us the 2.5 miles back to the trail. Like yesterday we passed countless rapeseed fields in the morning. We stopped for lunch at the Templehall Hotel in Morebattle (to be avoided) and then climbed 368 metres to the steepest (half way) part of the walk up Wideopen Hill (hard going). Mainly downhill to Kirk Yetholm.
Safely ensconced in our B & B tonight. Evening sunshine.
