Peter demolishing dandelions

Today I drove to my Mother's. It was good to see her at last, having  had to postpone my visit on Mothering Sunday when I caught Covid. It was warm and sunny this afternoon and  Peter, her tortoise, was wide awake and ravenous.  I hadn't seen him since  he awoke  from hibernation  last month. I gave him a warm bath and he enjoyed some juicy dandelion leaves. Here he is, making his first appearance on blip this year.
