Good Friday

This morning I drove my Mother and her younger sister back to Winchester to stay with us for a few days. It was rather a tedious journey travelling on the M25 and M3 but my husband welcomed us  with a vegetarian  moussaka and salad for lunch which we greatly appreciated. The weather has been fantastic  today so we sat outside on our patio this afternoon, and then  went for a short walk, where  again we encountered Lucky the  cat, who I blipped two days ago. 
This is the Easter Simnel cake I had made, but we didn't have  any room left for it today!  It will keep until tomorrow .
