The Art of The Ukraine

I didn’t swim today because when I arrived on the beach the waves were too high. Even the hardy bucks didnt risk it.

So I schmoozed down to Dun Laoghaire where all the shutters were down and the parking was in abundance and had the Full Irish in the Gourmet Cafe. Then across the road to Darboven to have my coffee and tiny chocolate and watch the world go by (about 10 people in an hour - it was only 9 o’clock remember). Their coffee is sublime.

I bought a pink jumper and shorts (when you buy shorts it makes the summer seem closer).

Then I watched a film for homework .. holy moly The Cook The Thief etc (holy moly)

I spent the rest of the day thinking about Russia and The Ukraine. I looked at artists who were born in The Ukraine and that is my main blip. My extra is of Yana Mochvan and she is a contemporary artist. Artists just want to paint, mix their colours, create beauty…. Why does someone have to ruin it all
