A beautiful day today.

I had my vaxx on Wednesday and all grand. But I woke up yesterday and felt as though a train had mowed me down. Shivering, headache, nausea and exhaustion. I had to stay off work as couldn’t get out of bed. I feel much better today and had a swim at 8am on a lovely morning in Bray.

I went to Raheny this morning to pick up the mammy and stopped on the way to snap this dude in Clontarf. Donated to the City of Dublin by the people of Chile. This explains

Dublin is such a mish mash of things - always interesting

On a lighter note, I got up to make a cup of tea last night and glanced at the telly pages and spotted a fave film of mine ... Educating Rita. So I wrapped myself in my blankie and snuggled down to watch it. It was filmed in Dublin and features Michael Caine and Julie Walters -what’s not to like. London and Liverpool accents (please correct me if I am wrong) just fab. And how she tottered over the cobbled stones in Trinity College in sling back stilletoes is beyond me
