Celebratory Crowns

I had a crafty hour this afternoon making 'crowns' for Bev and I to wear tomorrow at the 100th event of our local parkrun.  Bev is Run Director and I am Tail Walker tomorrow, so between that and walking down to set up I should clock up my daily steps before 10am!

Making these took me right back to Infant School days and the excitement of pre-Christmas party celebrations when we got to make our party hats and all the coloured card and crepe paper and glittery bits came out for our creations.  One particular year, the teacher briefly left the room and several children cut their hair with the safety scissors - oh dear there were ructions!

There will also be bunting and cake!
