Extra Loop
Tony went off early in a sleet storm to pick up the click and collect supermarket order whilst I got to grips with the bathroom. Since the departure of Euan and his Mum and Dad, we have been slowly returning the house to what it was before the necessary lockdown on fireplaces and staircases and cupboards full of interesting but potentially hazardous contents. Ours is a small house so many things simply went behind the settee in the downstairs room, Euan's alternative playroom. Now they are re-emerging and returning to their rightful places.
The question is, what to do with the large box full of DVDs which we have decided need to go. Yesterday, I sat at the computer for a couple of hours on one of those sites which buy secondhand DVDs, CDs, etc, optimistically thinking that the whole box would be on its way to recycle land. The outcome was the site would only accept a handful, bah, barely worth the effort of packaging them up and taking them to one of the stores which process them.
Mid afternoon, Tony proposed a run, just as the weather front finally went through our part of the country. It was very slurpy in the estate, but great to be out. I struggle to run up the hill so this is Tony returning from an extra loop to give me time to catch up.
