Signs of Spring

Sunny, high 57 deg F, low expected to be 40 deg F. Colder tomorrow with a chance of snow later in the day. We had a very lazy day: fed and watered the birds, took this picture, did one load of laundry, cleaned the kitchen and deleted a lot of files on my cell-tons more need to go. Hubby met with the guy who documented hail damage on our roof so they could start a claim with our insurance company. The adjuster should be out in a few weeks. If the damage is deemed extensive enough, we may get new shingles this spring-oh, the mess. Hubby hung some items on the walls that have been sitting around for months and we stored the remaining cookie tins. I had to change our appointments with the dermatologist because she has COVID. We had 244 new cases here in the last 24 hours. Glad they tested her before Momma and I went to see her. These daffodils are peeking out of the ground. Sure hope they won’t be damaged by the extended period of very cold temps they are predicting beginning tomorrow. I am in no hurry for spring because our life will be hectic again. Hubby is taking Parker for his orthodontist appointment and then we are in for the rest of the day. My DIL, not that it was necessary, is sending dinner in return for taking Parker. Hoping your day was peaceful as well. Stay well. Thanks for you visit, stars and comments. “Life is the greatest gift that could ever be conceived ... A daffodil pushing up through the dark earth to the spring, knowing somehow deep in its roots that spring and light and sunshine will come, has more courage and more knowledge of the value of life than any human being I've met.”
Madeleine L'Engle
