Which way is up?

A trip to Grasmere to buy Gingerbread. We also combined it with a walk to and along the lake side. There was odd patches of sunshine on the fells but these were very fleeting. On the whole dry, mild but very misty.

After refreshments I had a wander down to Lake Windermere. I couldn’t decide between the two photos. I liked the yachts and the difficulty of discriminating sky and lake from one another with the small boat returning to shore. The extra of the pier with the YHA and points of interest also had lots to commend it.

Stephen is now testing negative after Omicon although is still feeling fatigue. Matthew and Thomas have booked their boosters in the next few days. Just a shame that Thomas and his friends will be unable to go skiing to the French Alps at New Year and have the hassle of trying to claim their money back.
