Woke up to heavy rain and low lying cloud. So headed out to the shops. Picked up a few things for Christmas.

This afternoon a short walk in Borrowdale from Rosthwaite towards Grange. Popped up to see the cave where Millican Dalton lived. On a cold damp afternoon it would not not be my choice of residence! On the way back we encountered these three keeping an eye on Jet as he walked past. I couldn’t visit the Lakes without a photo of Herdwicks.
