The Tree

Abi and I are getting used to it just being the two of us, but sometimes we still have occasions that highlight the fact that we're the only ones at home now. Such as getting the Christmas Tree. Previously, and as you can see from past Blips, this has been more of a team effort.

Anyway, today we went up to Crabtree Farm in Lupton, which is where we always buy our Christmas Trees. When she was younger, Abi was always indecisive when it came to making purchases, even if it was just a packet of sweets, but this afternoon she chose a tree immediately. (I was delighted; that is my style of shopping.)

And in the evening, Abi went up into the loft to fetch the decorations down, and then we dressed the tree together. We were pretty pleased with the results.
