Kersal Wetlands

I needed to run today but I missed my opportunities this morning and at lunchtime due to being snug in bed and working, respectively. So, as a last resort, I took a break in the afternoon to get in a few miles.

I have previously referred to the site of the former Manchester Racecourse as the Salford Wetlands but as I was running today I saw a sign saying 'Kersal Wetlands'. Well, I checked, and the sign is right and I was wrong.

Anyway, here's a rather nice picture that justifies my decision to stay in bed, this morning, when it was raining.
