Joule

The Minx and I went to The Everyman, this evening, to see the new Black Panther film, 'Wakanda Forever'. However, between work finishing and the film starting, there was a mulled wine sized window which I filled by meeting Yoss at Joule.

The guy who runs Joule is a terrible enabler. It was he who introduced us to mead and, this evening, when I ordered a mulled wine, his response was "Do you want a rum in that?" (I declined.)

The Christmas decorations in Joule run to the cushion pictured in my Blip, but that didn't stop Yoss and I from having a festive time until the Minx dropped by to pick me up for the cinema.

And as to 'Wakanda Forever', well, I enjoyed it. A much better story than the first Black Panther film, although, as with so many Marvel films, the protracted battle scenes served only to remind me that I was in the cinema watching a film, rather than being immersed in it.

PS We awoke to a frosty Bowness, this morning. One of my Extras is from then, the other is the (rum free) mulled wine.
