Leck Beck

The finger crossing worked, glorious blue skies today - freezing cold, but we didn't care.

Headed over to Leck for a four mile circular walk. Despite being relatively short it is so varied and takes in woodland, fells and of course the beck which has sheets of wild garlic growing on its banks. We were too early for the bluebells, but I have it on good authority that they are a sight not to be missed.
We hardly saw another soul for the entire walk, except sheep of course, and were transfixed by the lambs having a giddy half hour - running in packs and leaping as high as they could before being called back by 'mum'.

Dinner out in KL this evening - v.busy, it being Easter weekend I suppose.
