Mothering Sunday ahoy.

A day beginning at 11.30 with champagne can only be a good thing, and indeed it was. B's daughter and her partner invited us and partner's parents round - we mucked in helping to complete their Wedding invitations, which was made all the easier with cake and afore mentioned shampoo thrown in.
Walk to Richmond and then along the tow path to Kew - lovely, except that we managed to coincide with high tide which involved having to slosh barefoot at points through freezing Thames - like having a headache in your feet someone said.

A few sherbets were consumed as compensation at Strand on the Green before heading home for an excellent dinner cooked by B's daughter.

I am not a Mother, but have been made to feel very included today - it was lovely x
