Good Friday

A very good Friday (though we could have done without having to divert off the M6 for hours) arriving in Kirkby Lonsdale mid afternoon to spend a few days with my folks in their caravan.

A very grey and cold day, so quick whizz over Devil's bridge, via Ruskin's view which is stunning, but I could never do it justice, and into town for a swift one at the Sun Inn.

Fingers crossed tomorrow for a bit of sunshine. After several visits over the last few years, B is beginnng to think that this part of the World is only ever wet and therfore the Lake District must be highly overrated....
