Pink Ladies

The brilliant thing about staying in Kirkby Lonsdale, apart from it being a lovley market town is the fact that it is equi-distant from both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.

We headed Yorkshire side today and did the Lune Valley Killington Walk.

It took us past a farm that my great (x4) grandfather had been the tenant of in the late 1800's. Somehow I don't think he would have been marking his sheep with luminous pink paint then.
