Logging

It was sunny if a little cold this morning. It was a shame, therefore, that today's walk was in a dense forest and at altitude so colder with mists swirling around. The autumn colours were good but not a great deal of sunshine penetrated to really do them justice. The real problem was that logging was underway and some of the tracks had been churned up and had become very muddy. At one point the loggers had cut down trees making the path impossible and we had great difficulty finding a way to climb round. However, it was good exercise and a day in the fresh air so still a worthwhile walk.
