Autumn vineyard
It is not very often that I get to do a vineyard blip for the simple reason that the main valley is given over mostly to the cultivation of peaches and apricots and the side valleys, which are a little higher, to apples. There are a few fields of vines dotted around here and there but to find the serious wine producers, you have to go to a neighbouring valley which is more arid or to the terraced vineyards on the coast in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
I play tennis in the morning and in the afternoon went into town to the chapel of rest to say goodbye to my friend Michael.
