Well there goes another one just lying down

Room 3

Ravensglass was another family holiday location.

Typically we stayed at Eskdale - Fisherground Campsite.  A beautiful back to basics Campsite.   Plot without Electric - Shower Block, Washing block.  A fridge / freezer for storing essentials (which families fought over - it was just a regular size domestic fridge.

A little mini-railway run past the camp site - The Little Ratty.   We would take the LIttle Ratty to Ravensglass, and wander through the little village, walk on the beach; visit the Roman village.   Have a pint in the pub.

Grab the train back and have a camp site tea.

Lovely.

This time we opted for the Pennington Hotel.   It was very lovely, 50 yards from the beach entrance, along a little row of beach type houses.
We visited the pub and had a pint; we didn't get another one.  Si has this face which Bar Tenders seem to think is "I'm okay - I don't need served".

He stood at the bar while people were served to either side of him - and then had had enough when the bar man reached over his shoulder to take the pint glass from the person behind him.

Oh dearie me.  He was a sad Si.  We have spent the next few days practising "I need a pint face"  and "I'm so sad, please serve me face".
It's awful, he can walk up to the bar, and stand, I can walk up five minutes after him and I get served first.  We don't understand it.

Anyway - we took the drone to the river estuary - the tide was out, so we had a good ole play.

Can you see me?
