We woke early and set off. Hit teebay by 1030 bang on Himself’s plan… nourished we set on.

Arrived at the National Arboretum Memorial at two and spend a lovely few hours enjoying the park and getting emosh at the
Memorials.

Then that moment which had to be endured.

A visit to that Wither’s Woman….

We went bearing gifts … jams, marmalade and chutney and vodka. Her dogs jumped all over me as did her cats. Jim was there and I stroked his calves. The pain of the visit was worth it for that alone

Then we had to sit and make conversation which is difficult because Withers has a two
Second span of attention.

We didn’t stay too long because they are heading off on holiday in the early hours… truth be told, she’s totally great fun… I even think So is warming toHer blunt force and trauma (he programmed the sat Nav ‘mad woman’)

We did the Ears of the day photo. We are quite splendid .

We left her and Jim to their packing and headed off…. And immediately took a wiring turn and got lost.

Found the hotel and then ate and drunk a bit. Then bed
