Leap Of Faith

It was very odd to see our daughter Kate, aged 36, off to school first thing this morning for the first day of a new school year after her sleepover last night; thought those days were long gone!

Later we took Sophie down to Yeovil for a walk around Ninesprings Country Park. She was most amused by the dog in extras jumping into one of the ponds to fetch a stick; the main blip is of her doing an impersonation over a thankfully smaller stretch of water!

After a play in the playground we reckon we’d earnt a coffee and some cranberry and white chocolate tiffin (us) and a chocolate muffin (Sophie) before heading home for an afternoon of indoor play. Sophie treated us to a visit to her imaginary zoo, populated by her extensive range of soft toy animals, which included a guided tour, various “shows” and a chance to feed the animals.
