Looking For Lunch

We took Sophie to Burnham -on- Sea this morning, walking through Apex Park, where this heron seemed to be hoping for an early lunch, then following the river down to the sea front.

We played on the beach for a while, had lunch in our favourite beachside cafe (Sophie is enjoying a chocolate and vanilla ice cream milkshake in extras) then went back to the beach for more castles in the sand.

There was just time for a session in the park playground before we took her home to Kate & Joel late afternoon.

It’s been lovely to enjoy her company for a couple of days before she gets back into school routine tomorrow.
