St Brigid

Kendall has inspired me to Blip the beautiful holy water pendant that our lovely holy well leader, freespiral, has so thoughtfully sent. As well as the midwifery and fertility mentioned yesterday, St Brigid is the patron of fire and I loved watching the patterns, reminiscent of holy well patterns, that it made as it swung around the firelight.

We had a lovely swim this evening. It will be amongst our last here. We are in a state of denial. Again we were the only ones there and it’s mid August. It feels crazy to have such draconian restrictions enforced.
