Making the most of it

We were the only ones down there again after work.
As ever, everything was beautiful about the place this evening - the dark, the light (extra), the wind and waves and their energy, the sounds, the chat and the Friday night beer.
A Friday night in mid August ...it just feels very frustrating.
We checked out a few other possibilities but will probably have to make do with Pooley after work - not the same and not as straightforward.
My boss contacted me via teams first thing this morning to let me know that our colleague definitely won’t be coming back.
