Colourful

Birthday Girl and a very colourful one as well!!

We all had a bit of a lie in but eventually arrived in the Dining Room so Sam could unwrap her gifts. She seemed pleased enough and if Sam is happy so am I.
I took Paddy off for his walk which gave Clare, Sam, Josh and Tiana the opportunity to slip away to the restaurant for Sam’s birthday lunch which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. I settled for a much longed for fish finger sandwich.
Once everybody was back home we spent the day, Joshua’s last day of his leave with us, enjoying each other’s company.
Dinner was three types of brought in pizza, garlic bread with cheese and garlic bread with tomato, all seemed to go down well. The birthday cake seemed overly sweet, to me anyway, but Sam enjoyed it.
Last night of leave, always a time no one enjoys much.
